The XLPE covered aluminum cable- 25kV Voltage Class is constituted by a compact round conductor, composed by aluminum strands, blocked or not, and with a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) covered in black or gray color, with special characteristics to be resistant against electric tracking and UV-rays.
APPLICATION :
For used in primary aerial cable on pole. on compact overhead, primary power distribution, medium-voltage networks located in urban and wooded areas. These cables are an excellent technical and economic option for companies all over the world, since they feature such advantages as low manufacturing cost and ease of installation.
CLASSIFICATION :
Temperature : - Normal operation 90 o C. - Emergency overload conditions 130 o C. - Short circuit conditions 250 o C. - Voltage rating : 25 kV phase to phase.
AC TESTING VOLTAGE : 38 kV for 5 minutes
